New Rules for Next Season

The league is discussing some changes for the upcoming season — this space will get filled in once they're finalized.

Designation Legend
NONENot currently a keeper — eligible to be kept at the round shown, if he qualifies (see rules below).
KEEPERWas kept last season. That's a record of what already happened, not who's getting kept for the upcoming draft — nobody's picked yet.
RRookie — first season in the league.
How Keepers Work
No Year Limit — Just Escalating Cost
Keepers don't expire after a set number of years. A player stays keeper-eligible for as long as his owner wants him and he still qualifies — the only thing that changes year to year is what he costs. Each team can carry up to 2 keepers at a time.
How the Keeper Cost Escalates
  • A drafted player can be kept at one round better than where he was picked (e.g. drafted Rd 8 → costs Rd 7 to keep).
  • Keep him again the following year and the cost jumps 2 rounds instead of 1 — marked with an * in the original spreadsheet. Every year kept after that keeps jumping the same way.
  • Players originally drafted in rounds 3–5 are capped at a 1st-round keeper cost no matter how far the math would otherwise push them.
  • Players drafted in round 1 or 2 the prior year can't be kept that first offseason.
The Keeper Cost column isn't computed live on this page — it's entered by the commissioner right after each draft using the rules above. If a number here looks off, it's a data entry to fix, not a rule to debug.
How We Score Keeper Value
The Value tag compares a player's keeper round against his ADP — where he'd actually go in a fresh startup draft today. ADP here comes from KeepTradeCut's crowdsourced Superflex / .5 PPR dynasty rankings, converted into a round.pick using this league's 14 teams (rank 15 → the 2nd pick of round 2, etc.). The difference between the two, in rounds, is the whole story: keep him at round 11 when he'd actually go in round 1, and that's a 10-round discount. Keep him at round 1 when his real ADP is also round 1, and you've gained nothing — you could've just drafted him fresh and used the keeper slot on someone actually cheap.
  • Elite Value — 5+ rounds cheaper than his ADP.
  • Good Value — 3–4 rounds cheaper.
  • Fair Value — 1–2 rounds cheaper.
  • No Real Edge — roughly break-even with his ADP.
  • Overpay — costs more than his ADP says he's worth. Common for aging veterans whose keeper cost hasn't caught up to their decline.
This is also why a round-one keeper cost rarely pays off: his ADP is very likely round one too, so there's no discount to be had. Players without an ADP (outside KTC's top 500 — mostly deep bench and D/ST) show no Value tag rather than a guess.

Best Keeper Value, Leaguewide

The top 30 rostered players by keeper value, across all 14 teams — not grouped by position. ADP is KeepTradeCut's crowdsourced Superflex / .5 PPR dynasty rank, converted to a round.pick for this league's 14 teams. Nobody's keeper picks for the upcoming draft are locked in yet, so this covers everyone, not just last season's keepers. See "How We Score Keeper Value" on the Rules tab for how it's calculated.

Trade Finder

Not a trade builder — a way to spot opportunities. Anyone you're not keeping goes back into the draft pool, so it's worth shopping before you lose them for nothing.

Team Breakdowns

An AI-written take on each team's best keeper options heading into the draft — nobody's actually picked their keepers yet, so this looks at the whole roster, not just who was kept last year. It calls out teams sitting on more good options than they have slots for, and who they should be trading those extras to. Grounded in the actual rosters, values and picks on this page; treat it as a conversation starter, not gospel.
